How to cook Havari

The one of the best persian cooking rice in the world is Havari. Havari is the persian rice recipe in south of Iran nad it is very popular there.

Ingredients

  • Rice 3 cups
  • Fish (Havoor is better) 150 gr
  • Water 6 cups
  • 2 to 3 Garlic cabbages
  • 1 chopped onion
  • Butter 50 gr
  • Salt and red pepper

Method

Step 1

Soak rice before cook. Then heat oil in the pan and fry onion in it until be golden. Chopped garlics and add it to onions with a little turmeric. Add fish and salt and pepper.

Step 2

Fry fish until finish its water. Then boil water with salt. Add rice to it when water is hot. When water come down until rice surface, rummage rice with skimmer and add melted butter on it.

Step 3

Turn down the heat and put the rice pan one the flame spreader and put the brew on the pan. After 30 to 40 minutes it’s ready. If you like, you can use 1 cup chopped dill or coriander and 1 cup white beans or lentil.
